If you are in Ajman and need your furniture moved to a nearby home in Al Nuaimiya or Al Jurf, to another emirate such as Abu Dhabi, Al Ain or Ras Al Khaimah, or out of the UAE to Saudi Arabia, Oman and the rest of the Gulf, we handle all of it with closed trucks and a crew that dismantles, packs and reassembles. Far destinations go by sea in a container, and light urgent items travel by air. Start by sending photos of the rooms on WhatsApp at +971557643821.

Your Furniture Crosses the Emirates
- Ajman is small and joined to Sharjah, so most long moves start by crossing Sharjah first.
- Manama and Masfout belong to Ajman but sit far from the city, so moves to or from them are planned as long runs.
- Abu Dhabi is about two hours by truck; Ras Al Khaimah is under an hour.
- Out of the UAE: by road to the Gulf, by sea farther away, by air for anything light and urgent.
- A one-bedroom apartment move inside Ajman starts from AED 1,100.
Where can your furniture go from Ajman?
We hear three kinds of request almost every day. Ajman residents moving within the emirate, tower to tower or flat to villa. Families relocating to another emirate for a new job in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. And residents leaving the country for good who want their furniture to come with them. Each needs a different plan for the truck, the packing and the paperwork.
Short move
Inside Ajman or next door to Sharjah, finished in hours including dismantling and assembly.
Between emirates
Ajman to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain or Fujairah in a closed truck, with the crew travelling along until assembly.
Leaving the UAE
By road to the Gulf or by sea in a container, with a contents list and export-grade packing.
Distances from Ajman to the other emirates
The figures below are approximate for a loaded truck leaving central Ajman. The route to Dubai and Abu Dhabi runs through Sharjah, so it suffers more from morning and evening traffic than the road north to Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah.
| From Ajman to | Distance | Approx. drive time | How we plan it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sharjah | About 10 km | 15 to 25 minutes | Treated almost like a local move |
| Umm Al Quwain | 25 to 30 km | 25 to 35 minutes | Fast coastal road, delivered the same day |
| Dubai | 35 to 45 km | 45 minutes to 1.5 hours | An early start cuts the time in half |
| Ras Al Khaimah | 70 to 80 km | About 1 hour | Via Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road |
| Fujairah | About 110 km | About 1.5 hours | Through Al Dhaid and Masafi, mountain road at the end |
| Al Ain | About 160 km | About 2 hours | Morning loading so furniture is assembled before night |
| Abu Dhabi | 170 to 180 km | 2 to 2.5 hours | Crossing Dubai is built into the day plan |

Ajman neighbourhoods we serve, including Manama and Masfout
Most of Ajman lives in the towers of Al Nuaimiya, Al Rashidiya and the Corniche, or in the villas of Al Helio, Al Yasmeen and Al Rawda. We also reach Manama and Masfout, two parts of Ajman that lie far from the city: Masfout is near Hatta, roughly 110 km away, and Manama is inland near Al Dhaid. Moving from Masfout into Ajman city is a longer drive than going to Dubai.
| Area | Neighbourhoods | Loading conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Central Ajman and Corniche | Al Nuaimiya, Al Rashidiya, Al Bustan, Corniche, Al Nakhil | Dense residential towers, service lift booking essential |
| South and west | Al Jurf, Al Mowaihat, Al Hamidiya, Al Rawda | Mix of buildings and villas, narrow inner streets |
| Newer districts | Al Helio, Al Yasmeen, Al Zahra, Al Amerah, Al Rumailah | Large villas with lots of furniture, a bigger truck or two trips |
| Industrial areas | New Industrial Area, Al Jurf Industrial | Equipment and offices, forklift if needed |
| Manama | Manama and surroundings | Counted as a distance move, roughly an hour from the city |
| Masfout | Masfout near Hatta | Long mountain road, packed for distance |
If you need to keep the furniture somewhere between leaving the old home and getting the new one, see furniture storage in Ajman.
A closed truck for every long run
The road from Ajman to Al Ain or the Saudi border is long, sunny and dusty. A closed box protects fabric and wood from all three, and the hydraulic tail-lift raises heavy pieces without scraping them on the truck edge. Inside, we strap furniture to the walls, separate pieces with thick blankets, and stand mattresses on their side so nothing presses on them.

The crew travels with the load the whole way. The people who took your wardrobe apart in Ajman are the ones who put it together in the new home, which cuts down on mistakes with screws and small fittings.
Moving from Ajman to another country
Gulf destinations are served by road: the truck loads at your home, crosses the border and delivers in the destination city. Destinations beyond the Gulf have their furniture loaded into a container and shipped by sea.
| Destination | Shipping method | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Saudi Arabia | By road through the Ghuwaifat crossing | About 520 km from Ajman to the border, then the distance inside the Kingdom |
| Oman | By road through the northern or eastern crossings | The crossing depends on the Omani city |
| Qatar | By road through Saudi Arabia | Two crossings, so the list is prepared carefully |
| Kuwait and Bahrain | By road through Saudi Arabia, Bahrain via the King Fahd Causeway | A multi-day trip, heavy packing |
| Farther countries | By sea in a 20 ft or 40 ft container, or a shared container | Wooden crates for fragile pieces and moisture absorbers |

If you are moving to the Kingdom, cities and timings are covered in our guide to shipping from the UAE to Saudi Arabia.
What about air freight?
We use it for whatever has to arrive before you or with you: a work laptop, the children’s school certificates, small things that cannot wait a week. They are packed in a separate carton and flown, while the large furniture stays on the road or in the container.
What to prepare when moving furniture out of the UAE
- Passport and Emirates ID copies for whoever owns the furniture.
- A list of every carton and its contents, numbered to match the cartons.
- Full details of the receiver at the destination.
- Invoices for new, unused appliances.
- Any extra paper destination customs require; the team tells you in advance.
Having these ready three or four days before loading spares you a truck waiting at the border.
The move from first message to last piece
- You send photos or a video of the home on WhatsApp, with the destination, floor and whether there is a lift.
- We suggest the truck size, crew and packing level, and send the price.
- We arrange the lift booking and move permit with your Ajman building and with the destination building.
- On moving day the crew dismantles beds and wardrobes, wraps everything and numbers the cartons.
- The truck sets off and you get WhatsApp messages at departure, midway and before arrival.
- At delivery, furniture goes into its rooms, dismantled pieces are reassembled and waste is collected.
Packing that matches the road length
For a short move inside Ajman, stretch film, blankets and cartons are enough. The longer the road, the more layers we add: corner guards for tables and picture frames, bubble wrap for screens and mirrors, then wooden crates for marble, glass and chandeliers if the destination is abroad. Cartons going by sea get moisture-absorbing sachets, because a container can sit in port under the sun for days.
Label each carton with the room name in the new home, not the old one. That way the crew puts it straight where it belongs.
Prices from Ajman and what moves them up or down
| Unit | Inside Ajman |
|---|---|
| Studio | Starts from AED 920 |
| One bedroom | Starts from AED 1,100 |
| Two bedrooms | Starts from AED 1,650 |
| Three-bedroom villa | Starts from AED 3,700 |
| To another emirate, abroad, a single item or an office | Send the details on WhatsApp and we will send the price |
Factors that decide the price
| Factor | Effect |
|---|---|
| Volume of contents | More volume means a bigger truck and more crew |
| Floor and lift | Using the stairs or waiting for a busy lift adds hours |
| Distance | Sharjah is not Abu Dhabi, and Abu Dhabi is not Riyadh |
| Packing | Export packing with wooden crates costs more than local packing |
| Dismantling and assembly | Built-in wardrobes, kitchens and children’s bunk beds |
| Date | Month-end and holidays book up early |
| Permits and parking | Building fees and how far the truck parks from the entrance |

Advice from the moving crew
- If you are moving to Abu Dhabi, ask the new building about permitted unloading hours before fixing your exit time from Ajman.
- Do not fill large cartons with books; use small cartons so the weight stays manageable.
- Keep a bag with two days of clothes, chargers and medicines in your car.
- Photograph valuable furniture before wrapping so you have a record of its condition.
- If you have plants, ask whether they can travel; many countries do not allow them in.
Warning: Flammable liquids, pesticides and gas cylinders are not allowed in the furniture truck, and perishable food spoils on the way and draws insects into the cartons. Optional insurance is available on request; ask the team before loading day.

Frequently asked questions
Can an apartment be moved from Ajman to Abu Dhabi in one day?
Yes, in most cases. We start loading in the morning, the road takes about two hours, and unloading and assembly finish before evening unless the home is very large.
Do you move from Masfout and Manama?
Yes. Both areas belong to Ajman and we serve them, pricing moves from there as long distance because they are far from the city.
How long does furniture take from Ajman to Saudi Arabia?
It depends on the destination city. The run to the Ghuwaifat crossing alone is around six hours by truck, then the border procedures and the distance inside the Kingdom. The team gives you the expected time for your city.
Do I need to be there on loading day?
It helps, or someone on your behalf, to check the list and confirm what goes and what stays.
How do I follow the shipment?
The team sends WhatsApp messages at each stage: departure, en route, the border if there is one, and arrival.
Can part of the furniture be stored and the rest moved?
Yes. What you need now is moved, and the rest is kept wrapped until you ask for it.
Can I send small things by air?
Yes. Light, urgent items are packed in their own carton and flown so they arrive before the furniture.
