What decides the price?
The price is not based on the number of rooms alone. These are the factors we ask about before giving you a figure:

Packing apartment belongings for storage
Packing for storage is not the same as packing for a quick move between two buildings. Your things will sit for weeks or months in a closed space, so they need protection from dust, scratches and moisture together, with some room to breathe so condensation does not form inside the wrap.
- Dismantling: beds, wardrobes, table legs and bookshelves, with screws bagged and labelled with the item name.
- Mattresses: thick sealed mattress bags that keep out dust and insects.
- Leather and fabric sofas: breathable covers instead of plastic pressed straight onto leather, which traps moisture and leaves marks.
- Corners and edges: cardboard or foam corner guards for tables, mirrors and frames.
- Boxes: new double-wall cartons, each marked with its number and the room it came from.
- Silica packs: inside boxes of clothes, small electronics and drawers to absorb moisture.
To save some of the cost you can pack clothes, books and kitchenware yourself, and leave large furniture, appliances and glass to the team. Just write the contents on every box, and do not fill book boxes to the top, because the weight presses on whatever sits below.
Storage conditions: summer humidity and dust
Ajman is on the coast, and summer humidity is the main enemy of wood, leather and electronics. That is why nothing sits directly on the floor: everything goes on wooden pallets or steel racks, so air passes underneath and floor moisture cannot reach it. Tips and warnings before storage
- Empty the fridge and freezer at least two days ahead, clean and dry them fully, and leave the door ajar.
- Drain the water left in the washing machine hoses and drum.
- Photograph important items yourself before collection, in addition to the inventory photos we send.
- Keep a small bag of what you will need during the storage period, so you do not have to request a retrieval days later.
- Keep keys, documents and valuables with you, not in the boxes.
