Moving high-rise and marina apartments from Dubai to Doha
Moving out of a tower in Dubai Marina, JBR or Downtown is a different job from a ground-floor villa. The first hurdle is not the furniture but the building. Most Dubai towers will not let furniture leave without a move-out permit from building or community management; most also require a service-lift booking for a set slot, and some ask for a certificate of insurance from the mover or a refundable deposit. So that is where we start.
- Move-out permit: you request it from building management or through the community app; we send the truck and crew details they ask for.
- Lift booking and move hours: many towers set moving hours and block peak times or Fridays; we time the truck to match.
- Protecting corridors and the lift: we pad the lift walls and cover corridor floors, so nothing comes back on you at handover.
- Loading bay: we arrange the truck’s spot in the loading bay with security, since street parking outside towers is usually not allowed.

The Saudi leg runs as a customs transit: the truck or container is sealed at Al Batha and declared as goods in transit, and the seal is opened only at Abu Samra. In practice, every document must be complete before the truck leaves Dubai, because a gap found at the border holds the whole truck, not just your consignment. We do not promise fixed times at the borders, since waiting varies day to day, but we message you on WhatsApp at every stop.
In a shared truck your consignment may wait two or three days for the load to fill. If your travel date is fixed, ask for a dedicated truck that leaves on the day you choose.
